Make a splash.

Every great backyard starts with a spark of imagination - an idea for something better, brighter, or just more you.

At Ruby Pools, that idea becomes reality through craftsmanship, creativity, and care. Founded by Zachary Rose, a licensed Architect, General Contractor, and Pool Builder, our team combines design sensibility with real, hands-on experience. Your pool should feel like an extension of your home - not just built to last….built to inspire everyday enjoyment!

We don’t talk in sales language or hide behind “fly-by-night” subs. We listen, sketch, dig, pour, and keep working until your pool is PERFECT. Every Ruby Pool tells a story - your vision, our craft, one pool at a time.

FAQs

How much does a pool cost including everything?

The cost for a new pool varies significantly based on: soil conditions, access, finishes, and equipment. We are able to provide an estimate for your pool within 24 hours so please contact us ASAP for your free quote. The most cost-effective pool we are able to offer is around ~$45k for a basic dip and that number can grow from there based on all of the various cost factors.

Do I need permits or will Ruby handle that?

We handle everything from soup to nuts for your permit. We hold all required licenses for every facet of your project, so retain complete control over the permit submission, review, and revision process. As a homeowner you do not have experience with the complicated building departments, so we always make sure to avoid any extra permitting stress for our clients by managing the whole process. You just need to sign some apps and we do the rest!

How long does it take to build a pool?

The time required depends mostly on the complexity of your pool build. For a simple rectangle with no features we can complete in as little as 45 days, and those with more complexity can take months. Our job is to provide you with a schedule and stick to it, in spite of any obstacles that may come up along the way. We promise to never leave you with a dirt hole in the ground for months!

Can I add features to the pool later on after we build?

Absolutely. All of our pools are designed to allow for maximum future upgrades, so as your needs change you can easily modify your existing setup. Whether it is adding salt chlorination, a heater, or even a deck jet, we track where all pipes are installed so they can be accessed at a later date without stress. Every contract includes a list of available upgrades and many of these upgrades can be added a later date as the need arises.

What is included in a standard pool package?

A standard Ruby Pool includes: all required excavation and dirt removal, gunite and steel for the structure, backfilling of all dirt, pool fittings (returns, suction, skimmer, drain), variable speed pump, filter, equipment with installation, waterline tile installation, diamondbrite, 30-day water balance / fire-up, and an industry-best warranty of 1 / 2 / 10 years for materials / equipment / structure.

What kind of maintenance does a new pool need?

Once the pool is filled and the system is started, Ruby Pools performs a full "fire-up" procedure - consistent and light cleaning for the first 30 days - to ensure everything operates as designed and cures properly. After startup, homeowners are responsible for routine maintenance, including water chemistry balancing, filter cleaning, equipment inspection, and surface brushing, to keep the pool in warranty and in peak condition.
